VEVO is an on demand advertising supported video streaming service, owned and financed by Universal Music Group, Sony Music, Abu Dhabi Media Company and Google. The service was originally set up as an alternative revenue stream to YouTube for record companies, however, VEVO no longer operates the Service via its own website. Now the service is located either on branded pages on Youtube or Syndication Platforms.
